Dangal is a biographical film of wrestler Mahavir Phogat, who trained his two daughters Geeta and Babita. Both the girls went on to represent India at the 2010 Commonwealth games, where they won a gold and a silver medal each.
The film chronicles the relationship of a father and his daughters, as he helps them achieve what he couldn’t. Aamir Khan has undergone tremendous physical transformation to play a greying 55-year old wrestler weighing 92 kgs, only to lose 25 kgs again to play the younger version of Mahavir Phogat in a second schedule.
