It was just a few days back that the Rajasthan High Court acquitted Salman Khan in the 18-year-old Black Buck/Chinkara poaching case, overturning previous convictions. Now, Harish Dulani—who was driving the gypsy used by ‘Bhai’ during the incident– has come out with some shocking revelations. The driver, who was a key witness in the case but never testified, recently told a leading website that ‘Bhai’ had indeed shot the Chinkara. Moreover, he added that he has shifted homes many times for fear of being targeted.
Interestingly, he had made a similar statement before a magistrate but his statement was discredited as he was never available for cross-examination.
On a related note, Salman had spent a week in jail in connection with the case a few years back. His acquittal has created waves in the industry. Dad Salim Khan praised the decision, saying the right thing had taken place.
While Salman thanked his fans for their support and love on Twitter.
